Ingólfsgarður Lighthouse

The Ingólfsgarður Lighthouse is a square, yellow tower made of corrugated iron that stands four meters tall at the elbow of the south breakwater in Reykjavík’s main harbor. Positioned seven meters above sea level, the small structure houses a light that emits a red flash every two seconds to guide vessels safely into the city port.
