St. James' Church ( C.N.I )

St. James' Church, located at the intersection of Church Road and Lothian Road near Kashmere Gate, is distinguished by its central octagonal dome and a cruciform plan. Completed in eighteen thirty-six, it stands as the oldest church in Delhi. The structure was commissioned by Colonel James Skinner, a commander of cavalry regiments, who financed the project at his own expense of ninety-five thousand rupees.
