The Shri Durgiana Temple is recognizable by its gilded domes and the large, intricately carved silver doors at its entrance. Situated in the center of a rectangular sacred lake, it is frequently called the Silver Temple. While the site itself has origins dating back to the sixteenth century, the current structure was built between nineteen twenty-one and nineteen twenty-four by Harsai Mal Kapoor, a philanthropist who wanted to provide a significant center for Hindu pilgrimage in the city.
