The Haruyoshi Bridge spans the Nakagawa River in Fukuoka, acting as a vital link between the bustling Tenjin-Minami and Nakasu districts. You can identify the structure by the name plates on its railings, which feature calligraphy by the Fukuoka-born comedian known as Tamori. When government officials invited him to provide the lettering, he accepted partly because his own father was named Haruyoshi, finding the coincidence too meaningful to decline.
