Fukuoka Red Brick Culture Museum

The Fukuoka Red Brick Culture Museum stands out with its distinct facade of red brick accented by horizontal white granite bands and an array of turrets, domes, and spires. Completed in nineteen oh nine, this structure was originally built to house the Kyushu branch of the Nippon Life Insurance Company. Its design reflects a fusion of late nineteenth-century British architectural styles, a project led by architects Kingo Tatsuno and Yasushi Kataoka.
