Jotenji

Jotenji Temple is marked by a road that cuts directly through its grounds, separating the site into eastern and western sections. Founded in twelve forty-two during the Kamakura period, this Rinzai Zen temple was established by the priest Enni-Ben’en with the financial backing of a Chinese merchant named Xie Guo Ming.
