The Weaving Sisters is marked by the presence of Katu backstrap looms, where artisans practice a style of weaving that originates from the southern regions of Laos. Founded by sisters Mone and Doi, who relocated from the Salavan Province to Luang Prabang more than ten years ago, the shop functions as a dedicated space for preserving their family’s Katu heritage.
