Wat Pak Khan Khammungkhun ວັດປາກຄານ ຄຳມ່ວນ

religious

Wat Pak Khan Khammungkhun sits at the edge of the peninsula where the Nam Khan and Mekong rivers meet. You can identify this temple by the low, sweeping roofline typical of the Luang Prabang architectural style, and the depictions of the figures Rama and Hanuman carved near the main entrance. UNESCO categorizes this structure as a Luang Prabang Style One monument, a classification it shares with only three other sites in the city, defined by internal columns that rise higher than those along the outer walls.
