Miła 18 Memorial

landmark

The Miła eighteen memorial is a mound of earth covered in greenery and trees, rising above the surrounding street level. Two sets of low, broad cobblestone steps lead to the top, where a commemorative stone sits alongside a later granite obelisk. This site marks the location of an underground bunker that served as the final headquarters for the Jewish Combat Organization during the nineteen forty-three Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
