Warsaw Ghetto Wall

The Warsaw Ghetto wall survives today as weathered, red-brick segments hidden within quiet residential courtyards. These fragments, reaching roughly three to six meters in height, once formed part of an eighteen-kilometer barrier that sealed off more than four hundred thousand people in November nineteen forty. While most of the original perimeter was demolished after the Second World War, these specific sections remain at locations like fifty-five Sienna Street and sixty-two Złota Street, marking the boundary that once separated the Jewish district from the rest of the occupied city.
