Plaça de Santa Eulàlia

The Plaça de Santa Eulàlia in Palma is defined by the massive Gothic parish church that rises above it, a structure easily identified by its distinct, pointed Gothic Revival bell tower. Built upon the site of an earlier Moorish mosque, the church was commissioned in twelve thirty-six, only a few years after the Christian conquest of Mallorca. Its significant scale served as a testament to the importance of this parish in the thirteenth century.
