Volk’s Electric Railway runs along the Brighton seafront as a narrow-gauge line stretching just over one mile. You can identify the route by its tracks positioned directly on the beachside promenade, connecting the Aquarium station near the Palace Pier to Black Rock. This is the oldest operating electric railway in the world, having carried passengers since August fourth, eighteen eighty-three.
