The Sir William Dunn School of Pathology occupies a large, purpose-built structure of stone and brick on South Parks Road, characterized by a blend of Tudor Revival and Neo-Georgian architectural styles. Opened in nineteen twenty-seven, the building was funded by a one hundred thousand pound bequest from the trustees of Sir William Dunn. It was designed by Edward Warren to provide a specialized space for medical science, reconciling the demands of modern laboratory research with a traditional aesthetic.
