The Edinburgh College of Art main building is recognizable by its long, red sandstone exterior, grand pillared entrances, and rows of large sash windows. Completed in nineteen oh nine, this Category A listed structure stands on land that once served as a cattle market. It was designed in a Beaux-Arts style to house an institution that traces its roots back to the seventeen sixties.
