The Glacier Brewhouse occupies a corner building on West Fifth Avenue in downtown Anchorage. Designed to resemble a rustic mountain lodge, the interior features dark wood accents, a stone fireplace, and wall-mounted taxidermy. It has been a fixture in the city since its opening in nineteen ninety-six, earning a reputation for its alderwood-fired rotisserie and craft ales produced on-site.
