The Burgundy Room is a small, dim bar on Cahuenga Boulevard characterized by its namesake deep-red walls and a raw, unpolished atmosphere. When it opened in nineteen eighty-nine, the surrounding stretch of Cahuenga was a desolate and rough area, far from the polished nightlife scene that later grew around it.
