Highland-Camrose Bungalow Village

The Highland-Camrose Bungalow Village consists of a cluster of Craftsman-style houses tucked into a hillside at the corner of Highland and Camrose Avenues. Built between nineteen sixteen and nineteen twenty-three, these bungalows are connected by a network of river-rock retaining walls and secluded stairways. While many such bungalow courts in the city are laid out in straight, symmetrical rows, this village follows the natural contours of the terrain.
