Miceli's Italian Restaurant

Miceli’s Italian Restaurant is recognizable by the rows of empty Chianti bottles hanging from its ceiling and the dark, ornate wooden booths that fill the dining room. Founded in nineteen forty-nine by World War Two veteran Carmen Miceli and his wife Sylvia, it is the oldest Italian restaurant in Hollywood. The family opened the business as a pizzeria, using recipes brought from Sicily by way of Chicago.
