Building One Hundred One, located at the corner of Twentieth and Illinois Streets in the Dogpatch neighborhood, is a neoclassical structure built in nineteen seventeen. Designed by architect Frederick H. Meyer, the building features a five-story facade that historically served as the headquarters for the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation. It stands as a contributing property to the Union Iron Works historic district, a site recognized for its role in the industrial development of the San Francisco waterfront.
