Letterform Archive

The Letterform Archive is a non-profit museum and library dedicated to the history of graphic design, typography, and calligraphy. Located on the fourth floor of the American Industrial Center, it is identifiable by its visitor entrance under a glass awning at twenty-three twenty-five Third Street. Inside, the space holds a collection of over one hundred thousand items, including rare books, posters, original sketches, and type specimens that span thousands of years of written communication.
