All Is Well Bell

The All Is Well Bell hangs suspended from a large red metal arch at the corner of Third Street. This heavy, cast-bronze bell serves as the centerpiece of the First Responder Plaza, a space dedicated to the police, fire, and paramedic services of San Francisco. Artist Paul Kos designed the plaza around three distinct icons, which he describes as his three tenors: this bell, a black granite seven-point star, and a living conifer tree.
