The Esplanade is a wide, open meadow that sits in the heart of San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Gardens, set apart by its position on top of the underground Moscone Convention Center. This grassy space, also known as the Great Lawn, spans five and a half acres and acts as a central commons where the city’s high-rise district meets public parkland.
