Building at 1840–1842 Eddy Street

The building at eighteen forty to eighteen forty-two Eddy Street, known as the Martin O’Dea House, is a wood-frame Victorian residence distinguished by its Stick-style architecture and Eastlake-style ornamentation. Built in eighteen seventy-five, it was originally located at seven hundred fifty-one Turk Street and belonged to Martin O’Dea, a prominent local horseshoer.
