Wood Line is a twelve-hundred-foot-long sculpture made of eucalyptus branches that snakes along the forest floor. Created by British artist Andy Goldsworthy between twenty ten and twenty eleven, it consists of wood reclaimed from Presidio park projects, including debris from the reconstruction of Doyle Drive. The sculpture winds through a grove where the United States Army planted rows of eucalyptus and cypress trees in the eighteen eighties.
