The Letterman Digital Arts Center is identifiable by a life-sized bronze statue of the character Yoda, which sits atop a fountain near the entrance to building B. This twenty-three-acre campus serves as the headquarters for Lucasfilm, Industrial Light and Magic, and other related divisions. It occupies the site of the former Letterman Army Hospital, a military medical facility that remained in operation until the base was decommissioned in the nineteen-nineties.
