The Koshland House at thirty-eight hundred Washington Street is recognizable by its pinkish-toned sandstone exterior and a facade that mirrors the proportions of the Petit Trianon at Versailles. Built between nineteen oh two and nineteen oh four for Marcus and Corinne Koshland, the mansion is defined by its five bays separated by tall, fluted Corinthian columns.
