The Korean War Memorial is defined by a long, gently curving wall made of polished black granite. Standing approximately ten feet high, the wall is laser-etched with images and text that interpret the events of the war. The memorial sits within a tranquil, oval-shaped plaza just outside the gates of the San Francisco National Cemetery at the corner of Lincoln Boulevard and Sheridan Avenue.
