The Wave Organ is a wave-activated acoustic sculpture located at the tip of a jetty that protects the small boat harbor in the Marina District. You can identify this site by the stone platforms and benches that extend into the bay, constructed from carved granite and marble salvaged from the demolished Laurel Hill Cemetery. Twenty-five pipes made of PVC and concrete are embedded throughout this structure, reaching down into the water to intercept the rhythmic movement of the tides.
