The Harding Rock Buoy is a red and green navigational marker floating in the Central San Francisco Bay. It sits above an underwater obstruction known as Harding Rock, which marks the southern boundary of the shipping channel. Mariners recognize the buoy by its flashing light sequence and its position in the open water between the Golden Gate Bridge and Angel Island.
