The Cowell Theater occupies the north end of Pier Two, a structure built in nineteen twelve that once served as a principal port for the Pacific campaign during the Second World War. Today, the building houses a four hundred thirty-seven seat performance space, where the original industrial framework of the pier shed remains visible within a modern, fully-equipped theater environment.
