The Golden Gate Promenade is a paved path that hugs the northern edge of the San Francisco shoreline, defined by its flat, wide surface and the constant view of the Golden Gate Bridge soaring over the water. It serves as a two-mile section of the regional Bay Trail, stretching from the Marina district across the former airfield of Crissy Field and ending near the brick walls of historic Fort Point.
