St. Vincent de Paul Church sits at the corner of Green and Steiner Streets, easily identified by its prominent bell tower and steep, bracketed roof. The structure was completed in nineteen thirteen, shortly before the nearby nineteen fifteen Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Because of its proximity to the fairgrounds, the local community nicknamed it the Exposition Church.
