The First Unitarian Church, located at the corner of Franklin and Geary Streets, is built from rough-hewn granite in the Richardson Romanesque style. Its exterior is marked by a square turret, which replaced a taller bell tower and steeple that were damaged and removed following the nineteen oh six earthquake and fire.
