Forest Hill Station is marked by a headhouse featuring a Mission-style red clay tile roof and a facade adorned with period pilasters and ornate archways. This building houses the station concourse at the surface level, a unique design feature that separates it from the city's other underground transit stops. Carved directly into the stone of the headhouse, the name Laguna Honda remains visible, reflecting the station's original title when it first opened to the public on February 3, 1918.
