15th Avenue Steps

The 15th Avenue Steps are a pair of concrete stairways separated by a public sidewalk atop a retaining wall, rising forty feet up the steep terrain of the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood. Built around nineteen twenty-seven during the original grading of the area’s streets, these stairs provide a direct, pedestrian-only passage through a landscape of native oak trees and berry bushes.
