The 16th Avenue Tiled Steps are a continuous mosaic mural of hand-cut ceramic, glass, and mirror pieces that climb one hundred and sixty-three risers. The design creates a single narrative that begins at the base with an underwater scene of fish and sea creatures, then transitions into land and sky imagery, finishing with a celestial display of a moon and stars at the very top.
