Polytechnic Cornerstone

The Polytechnic Cornerstone sits near Frederick Street, marked by a stone plaque that commemorates a lost school. For decades, it held its place at the corner of Polytechnic High School, a massive campus that opened in nineteen fourteen and operated until nineteen seventy-three. When the main school building was demolished in the late nineteen eighties, the original cornerstone vanished during the destruction.
