Huntington Falls

Huntington Falls is a one hundred and ten foot tall artificial waterfall cascading down the slopes of Strawberry Hill into Stow Lake. It was the first of two man-made waterfalls in Golden Gate Park, conceived by park superintendent John McLaren after he hiked in the Sierra Nevada mountains with naturalist John Muir.
