Powell Street Railroad Depot

A small, red-and-white wooden chalet stands at the corner of Fulton Street and Seventh Avenue, marked by a sign that reads Park Entrance. This structure is the only surviving depot from the Ferries and Cliff House Railroad, an eighteen-nineties steam train line that connected downtown San Francisco to the western edge of the city.
