Naga and the Captainess

A shimmering, teal sea serpent, one hundred feet long and twenty-five feet tall, coils within the Rainbow Falls Pond along the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Promenade. This massive sculpture, named Naga, is covered in more than five thousand hand-painted aluminum scales that glint in the sunlight. Beyond its size, the serpent draws attention by periodically exhaling clouds of bubbles from its nose and glowing with internal light systems after dark.
