Guy Place Mini Park

Guy Place Mini Park is a three-thousand-five-hundred-square-foot patch of greenery tucked into the dense, high-rise environment of Rincon Hill. You can identify the space by its distinctive metal perimeter fence, titled Geologic Ghost, which features intricate, waterjet-cut patterns. Artist Adriane Colburn designed this fence using historical maps and three-dimensional modeling to reconstruct the original topography of Rincon Hill, specifically referencing the graywacke sandstone that once defined the area before it was partially excavated in the late nineteenth century to make way for the Second Street corridor.
