The Haas Candy Factory is a narrow, five-story brick building distinguished by its tall, arched windows. Completed in nineteen oh six, it was designed by the architect William Curlett as a center for the production of chocolates, candies, and ice cream for the George Haas and Sons company. The structure sits on Mint Street, a reminder of the industrial activity that once filled this part of the city.
