The Welcome to Ocean Avenue mural is a bright blue retaining wall on Geneva Avenue that slopes downward toward the intersection with Ocean Avenue. It is identifiable by its bold, three-dimensional yellow lettering that spells out a greeting to those entering this corridor. Created in twenty sixteen by the collective known as One AM Projects, the mural serves as a visual gateway, featuring painted depictions of historic neighborhood landmarks such as the former El Rey Theater and the local favorite, Beep’s Burgers.
