The gallery once known as 20 GOTO 10 occupied a space at six hundred seventy-nine Geary Street, on the edge of the Tenderloin. Founded by Christopher Abad in two thousand eight, it took its name from a classic instruction in the BASIC programming language, used by beginners to create an infinite loop. This name signaled the gallery’s focus on the intersection of technology and art, a place where the barrier between computer science and gallery exhibition blurred.
