The Cruise Room is defined by its long, narrow, wine-bottle-shaped interior, bathed in a signature rose-tinted glow from overhead neon lights. Tucked inside the Oxford Hotel, which dates back to eighteen ninety-one, this bar opened on December sixth, nineteen thirty-three—exactly one day after the repeal of Prohibition. It holds the distinction of being Denver’s longest-running bar, having operated continuously since that night.
