The Cadillac Palace Theatre is distinguished by its French Baroque interior, which was inspired by the architecture of the palaces at Versailles and Fontainebleau. Opened on October fourth, nineteen twenty-six, as the New Palace Theatre, it served as the flagship for the Orpheum vaudeville circuit. Inside, the space features grand lobbies finished in breche violet and white marble, complemented by extensive gold leaf ornamentation and large decorative mirrors.
