The Sazerac Bar is defined by its interior of dark African walnut, with walls and bar top carved from a single massive tree. Located inside the Roosevelt Hotel, the room features large-scale murals by the local artist Paul Ninas, which depict Mardi Gras scenes in Jackson Square as they appeared when the bar opened in nineteen thirty-nine.
