Tujague's

Tujague’s sits on Decatur Street as the second oldest restaurant in New Orleans, established in eighteen fifty-six by French immigrants Guillaume and Marie Abadie Tujague. The building is recognized by its history as a gathering place for riverfront laborers, who arrived here daily for a mid-day meal known as the butcher’s breakfast. This tradition eventually became the international practice of brunch.
