Anchorage Plaza is a triangular plot defined by the massive stone masonry of the Brooklyn Bridge. It spans roughly one hundred thousand square feet between Washington and Old Fulton Streets, including a narrow connector known as Ash Alley that runs directly beneath the bridge structure. For over fifteen years, this site served as a storage yard for the New York City Department of Transportation, which used the space to maintain the bridge span.
