Squibb Park Bridge

The Squibb Park Bridge is a four-hundred-foot steel pedestrian span that zigzags over the deep cut of Furman Street, linking the residential streets of Brooklyn Heights to the waterfront piers of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Named for the pharmaceutical pioneer Edward Robinson Squibb, whose laboratories once operated in this neighborhood, the bridge sits within a landscape carved out by the massive concrete infrastructure of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
